Lyes Salem rose to fame as an actor, gracing the silver screen many times over the course of his Hollywood career. Salem's acting career began mostly with his roles in various films, such as the John Littlefield drama "Rendezvous in Samarkand" (1999) and "Alex" (2005). He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including a part on "Highlander: The Series" (1992-98). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the early 2000s and the 2010s, appearing in the sports drama "Munich" (2005) with Eric Bana, the action picture "District B13" (2006) with David Belle and the Biyouna dramatic comedy "Delice Paloma" (2007). He also appeared in "Masquerades" (2010), "Top Floor Left Wing" (2010) with Tassadit Mandi and "Nobody Else but You" (2012) with Jean-Paul Rouve. Salem most recently acted in "L'Oranais" (2014).
