Julia Ford was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Ford's career began with roles in "Dinotopia" (ABC, 2002-03) and "Being Human" (BBC, 2007-2013). She also was featured in the miniseries "Island at War" (2003-04). In the beginning of her Hollywood career, Ford acted in films like "A Room for Romeo Brass" (2000). She continued to work steadily in television dramas throughout the early 2000s and the 2010s, appearing on "Law & Order: UK" (BBC, 2008-2013) and "Misfits" (E4, 2009-2014). In the early 2000s and the 2010s, she acted in the Robert Carlyle foreign "Summer" (2008) and the crime drama "1980: The Red Riding Trilogy Part 2" (2010) with Andrew Garfield. More recently, she tackled roles on "The Paradise" (PBS, 2013) and "Happy Valley" (BBC 1, 2014-). She also was featured in the TV movie "The Secret of Crickley Hall" (BBC, 2012-13). She also appeared in the Dakota Fanning dramatic adaptation "Now is Good" (2013). Ford most recently acted in "Radiator" (2015).
