Jonathan Whitesell was a young actor best known for his work on the television shows "Beyond" (2017), "The 100" (2014) and "Once Upon a Time" (2011). Whitesell was born August 28, 1991 in Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada, where he was raised in the small town of Duncan until he was seventeen. He originally sought to enlist in the Canadian Military after graduating high school, but ended up moving to Vancouver to pursue his arts education, graduating from Capilano University's Acting for Stage and Screen program. Whitesell's first television appearance was on the series "Proof" (2015) in the role of Charlie Maynard. From there, he went on to play Michael Gibbons in the TV movie "Ties That Bind" (2015). In 2016, things really began to take of for Whitesell's career as he got huge exposure when he was cast as Hercules on the ABC fantasy drama "Once Upon A Time" (2011), followed by his role as Bryan on Season 3 of the CW science-fiction drama "The 100" (2014). Continuing his busy 2016, Jonathan co-starred in "A.R.C.H.I.E." (2016), an adorable family film about a robot dog who befriends a lonely orphan. Next up for Whitesell was another co-starring role on the mysterious television drama "Beyond" (2017), about a boy who wakes up from a 12-year-long coma to discover the he has gained supernatural abilities.
