Actress Heather Kafka was a dynamic talent on the big screen in dramatic roles. She also was featured in the miniseries "Murder in the Heartland" (1992-93). She worked in series television while getting her start in acting, including a part on "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" (CBS, 2000-2015). She also starred in the TV movies "The People Next Door" (1996-97), "The Secret She Carried" (NBC, 1996-97) and "Beyond the Prairie II: The True Story of Laura Ingalls Wilder Continues" (CBS, 2001-02). She then appeared in the Jessica Biel horror film "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" (2003), "Natural Selection" (2003) and the Luke Wilson comedy "Idiocracy" (2006). In the 2010s, she then appeared in "Lovers of Hate" (2011), the Rooney Mara crime drama "Ain't Them Bodies Saints" (2013) and the drama "Loves Her Gun" (2013) with Trieste Dunn. She also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Longmire" (2011-). Kafka most recently acted in "Pit Stop" (2014).
