George Anton was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. He appeared in a number of television specials, including "Piece of Cake" (PBS, 1989-1990) and "The Blackheath Poisonings" (PBS, 1992-93). He also acted in various film roles at the time, appearing in the comedy "Venus Peter" (1989) with Ray McAnnaly. He also landed a role in the miniseries "Imogen's Face" (1998-99). He also appeared in the TV special "Aristocrats" (PBS, 1999-2000). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Terror in the Mall" (Fox, 1997-98). He also lent his voice to "A History of Britain" (History, 2000-01). Anton took on film roles in more recent years, appearing in the action flick "K-19: The Widowmaker" (2002) with Harrison Ford and "Outlaw" (2007). He held additional roles in television including a part on "Robin Hood" (BBC, 2006-2010). Most recently, Anton acted on "Law & Order: UK" (BBC, 2008-2013).
