Eduardo Calvo was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Calvo began his acting career with roles in such films as the Jose Luis Lopez Vazquez comedy "El Jardin de las Delicias" (1970), "El Amor del Capitan Brando" (1974) with Fernando Fernan-Gomez and the Jose Luis Gomez action picture "Pascual Duarte" (1975). He also appeared in "Ya Soy Mujer" (1975) with Cristina Ramon. He kept working in film throughout the seventies, starring in "El Perro" (1977), "In Memorium" (1977) and the drama "Nunca Es Tarde" (1977) with Jose Luis Gomez. He also appeared in the Francisco Cecilio comedy "Tengamos La Guerra En Paz" (1977). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "The Crime of Cuenca" (1979) with Hector Alterio, "Corazon de Papel" (1982) and "Al Achecho" (1988). He also appeared in the comedy "Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown" (1988) with Carmen Maura. Calvo more recently wrote the Victoria Abril thriller "A Solas Contigo" (1990).
