Born on March 19, 1977, in Amherst, Massachusetts, Ebon Moss-Bachrach is an American actor. Moss-Bachrach graduated from Columbia University in 1999 with a B.A. in English Literature. He studied acting and the Meisner technique at the William Esper Studios in New York City. He is best known for playing Desi Harperin in "Girls" (2014-17) and David Lieberman in "The Punisher" (2017). In 2022, Ebon Moss-Bachrach began playing Richard "Richie" Jerimovich in the comedy-drama series "The Bear."
