Deepti Naval was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Naval began her acting career appearing in various films, such as the drama "Junoon" (1978) with Shashi Kapoor, "Hum Paanch" (1980) and "Katha" (1983). She also appeared in "Mohan Joshi Haazir Ho" (1984), the drama "Damul" (1985) with Manohar Singh and the foreign "Faasle" (1985) with Sunil Dutt. She kept working in film throughout the eighties and the early 2000s, starring in "Main Zinda Hoon" (1988), "Mirch Masala" (1989) with Naseeruddin Shah and "Mane" (1991). She also appeared in the comedy "Bollywood" (1994) with Chunky Pandey, "Love, Lust & Marriage" (1994) and "Leela" (2002). More recently, she continued to act in the Nandita Das drama "Sandstorm" (2003), "The Journey" (2007) and the dramatic fantasy "Yatra" (2007) with Rekha. She also appeared in "Firaaq" (2009) with Naseeruddin Shah, the action movie "Aurangzeb" (2013) with Arjun Kapoor and the Randeep Hooda dramatic adaptation "Colors of Passion" (2014). Naval most recently acted in "NH10" (2015) with Neil Bhoopalam.
