David Sibley was an actor who was familiar with the qualities it takes to bring a drama to the big screen. Early on in his acting career, Sibley landed roles in various films, including the Ben Kingsley biopic drama "Gandhi" (1982), the Dennis Quaid biographical drama "Great Balls of Fire" (1989) and the Jim Broadbent comedic drama "Princess Caraboo" (1994). He also appeared in the Jason Patric thriller "Incognito" (1998). Sibley also lent his voice to various characters in "At the Fountainhead (Of German Strength)" (1980). He kept working in film throughout the nineties and the early 2000s, starring in "Guest House Paradiso" (2000) with Rik Mayall. Sibley was nominated for an Outstanding Music Direction Primetime Emmy Award for "Little Richard" in 2000. He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Utopia" (Channel 4, 2013-14). Sibley most recently appeared in "War & Peace" (2016).
