David Haskell was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. He had an early role on the television special "It's a Mile From Here to Glory" (ABC, 1977-78). During the early stages of his Hollywood career, Haskell mainly held acting roles in films like "Godspell" (1973). He additionally landed roles in the TV movies "A Family Upside Down" (1977-78), "The Ordeal of Patty Hearst" (ABC, 1978-79) and "Broken Promise" (CBS, 1980-81). He also starred in the TV movies "This Is Kate Bennett..." (1981-82), "Missing Pieces" (CBS, 1982-83) and "Mickey Spillane's Mike Hammer: More Than Murder" (CBS, 1983-84). He also appeared in "Policewoman Centerfold" (NBC, 1983-84). He also had roles in film during these years, including roles in "Seems Like Old Times" (1980) with Goldie Hawn and "Deal of the Century" (1983). Haskell took on film roles in more recent years, appearing in "Body Double" (1984) and the drama "The Boost" (1988) with James Woods. He also had a part in the TV miniseries "Princess Daisy" (1983-84). He held additional roles in television including a part on "Santa Barbara" (NBC, 1983-1993). Haskell's distinctive voice can be heard on "Home Improvement" (ABC, 1991-99). Haskell more recently worked on the Paige Turco action movie "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: the Secret of the Ooze" (1991).
