Swedish character actor David Dencik first gained notice as the star of 2005's based-on-a-true-story television miniseries "The Laser Man," in which he played a socially maladjusted loner who embarks on a killing spree in downtown Stockholm. He then co-starred in the ribald comedy "All About My Bush," an international success. Key roles in 2011's remake of John le Carré's espionage tale "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy" and Steven Spielberg's period drama "War Horse" were his first major English-language parts. Interestingly, Dencik appeared in both the Swedish and American versions of the thriller hit "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo," albeit in different roles.
