Carlos and Margarita were once a renowned tango couple, but have lost their passion and now live in different cities. They travel to the foot of the Andes, where they must face their memories, fears and true desires.

Nurse Benigno becomes infatuated with Alicia as he watches her dance from his apartment. She arrives at a local hospital after a car accident and Benigno acts as her caregiver. A bullfighter comes to the ward and her companion bonds with Benigno.
