Rafa, a Sevillian who has never left Andalusia, decides to leave everything behind to follow Amaia, a Basque girl. Once in the Basque Country, he has to adapt to a new environment and pass himself off as Basque to win the approval of Amaia's father.

Two lifeguards, Óscar and Gerard, travel to Lesbos, shocked by the photograph of a drowned child in the Mediterranean. Upon arrival, they discover an overwhelming reality: thousands of people risk their lives crossing the sea in precarious boats.
