Claudio Amendola was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. In his early acting career, Amendola appeared in such films as "Storia d'amore e d'amicizia" (1982), "Lontano da Dove" (1983) and the Jerry Calà romantic comedy "Vaconze di Natale" (1984). He also appeared in the comedy "Vacanze in America" (1984) with Jerry Calà, "Soldiers - 365 Till Dawn" (1987) and the crime flick "I Giorni del commissario Ambrosio" (1988) with Ugo Tognazzi. He continued to work steadily in film throughout the nineties, appearing in "Policemen" (1994), "Queen Margot" (1994) and "The Horseman on the Roof" (1996) with Juliette Binoche. He also appeared in "Mare Largo" (1998). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "Domenica" (2001), "Johnny the Partisan" (2001) and "Fratella e Sorello" (2005). He also appeared in the Alice Teghil dramedy "Caterina in the Big City" (2005). Amendola most recently acted in the crime feature "Suburra" (2015) with Pierfrancesco Favino.
