Brian Sergent was an actor who founded his entertainment career success with roles in film. In his early voice career, Sergent worked in films like the animated adventure "Footrot Flats" (1986) with Peter Rowley and "Meet the Feebles" (1995) with Peter Vere-Jones. In addition to his voice work, he appeared on camera in the Craig McLachlan period drama "Absent Without Leave" (1993). He kept working in film throughout the nineties and the 2010s, starring in "Via Satellite" (1998) featuring Danielle Cormack, the Elijah Wood hit action flick "The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers" (2002) and the Elijah Wood hit action film "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King" (2003). He also appeared in "Eagle vs Shark" (2007) and the Ian McKellen box office smash fantasy sequel "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" (2013). He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Flight of the Conchords" (HBO, 2006-09). Most recently, Sergent acted in the Kodi Smit-McPhee western "Slow West" (2015).
