Actor Billy Jayne began acting at the ripe age of seven. Jayne's early acting career mostly consisted of roles in various films, such as "The Runner Stumbles" (1979), "Bloody Birthday" (1980) and the Sally Field comedy "Back Roads" (1981). He also appeared in the adventure "The Beastmaster" (1982) with Marc Singer. He had an early role on the television special "The Horrible Honchos" (ABC, 1976-77). He worked in series television while getting his start in acting, including a part on "The Bad News Bears" (CBS, 1978-1980). His film career continued throughout the eighties in productions like "Man, Woman and Child" (1983) with Martin Sheen, "Cujo" (1983) with Dee Wallace Stone and the drama "Reckless" (1984) with Aidan Quinn. During the latter part of his career, he continued to act in the Richard Dreyfuss action flick "The Crew" (2000). Additionally, he could be seen on a variety of television specials like "The Girl With the Crazy Brother" (CBS, 1989-1990) and "Idols" (Fox, 1991-92). Most recently, Jayne acted on "United States of Tara" (Showtime, 2008-2011).
