Anthony Hayes was an actor with a strong presence in film throughout his Hollywood career. In his early acting career, Hayes appeared in such films as the adventure "Ride the Wild Surf" (1964) with Fabian, "Strait-Jacket" (1964) with Joan Crawford and "The Boys" (1999) with David Wenham. He also appeared in the Adam Garcia drama "Bootmen" (2000) and the Everlyn Sampi dramatic adaptation "Rabbit-Proof Fence" (2002). He kept working in film throughout the early 2000s, starring in "Ned Kelly" (2004) with Heath Ledger, "Look Both Ways" (2006) and "West" (2007). He also appeared in the crime picture "Suburban Mayhem" (2008) with Emily Barclay and the drama "Prime Mover" (2009) with Emily Barclay. Recently, he continued to act in the thriller "The Square" (2009) with Joel Edgerton, the Guy Pearce crime flick "Animal Kingdom" (2010) and the dramatic adaptation "Beneath Hill 60" (2010) with Brendan Cowell. He also appeared in the dramatic comedy "Burning Man" (2012) with Matthew Goode and the Guy Pearce crime drama "The Rover" (2014). He held additional roles in television including a part on "SLiDE" (TeenNick, 2011-12). Most recently, Hayes acted in the drama "Healing" (2015) with Hugo Weaving.
