Anatole Taubman was an actor who made a successful career for himself in film. Taubman began his acting career in film, appearing in such titles as "Equilibrium" (2002), the Vadim Glowna period drama "Mein Name ist Bach" (2004) and the sci-fi motion picture "Aeon Flux" (2005) with Charlize Theron. He also appeared in the Olivier Martinez dramatic adaptation "Blood and Chocolate" (2007). He also was featured in the miniseries "Band of Brothers" (2001). He had an early role on the television special "Monsignor Renard" (PBS, 1999-2000). He kept working in film throughout the early 2000s, starring in "Fay Grim" (2007) with Parker Posey, "Mörderischer Frieden" (2007) and "Pope Joan" (2008). Recently, he tackled roles in the foreign sequel "Largo Winch 2" (2011) with Tomer Sisley, the Chris Evans smash hit action movie "Captain America: The First Avenger" (2011) and the children "Fünf Freunde" (2012) with Valeria Eisenbart. He also appeared in the thriller "Lost Place" (2013) with François Goeske and the Benedict Cumberbatch dramatic adaptation "The Fifth Estate" (2013). Most recently, Taubman acted in "The Transporter Refueled" (2015) with Ed Skrein.
