Alice Lowe was an accomplished actress, noted for her comedic timing in her roles for television shows. She began her acting career with roles in the series "Black Books (UK)" (2001-04), "Garth Marenghi's Darkplace" (Syfy, 2005-06) and "The IT Crowd" (IFC, 2006-2010). She also appeared in "Pulling" (SundanceTV, 2008-2010). During the early stages of her Hollywood career, Lowe mainly held acting roles in films like "Hot Fuzz" (2007) with Jim Broadbent.
