Akie Kotabe was an actor most commonly known for his memorable roles in television. Kotabe made appearances on a wide range of programs early on in his acting career with credits on "JKX: The Jamie Kennedy Experiment" (2001-04), "CSI: Miami" (CBS, 2002-2012) and "Without A Trace" (CBS, 2002-09). He also appeared in "Stacked" (2004-06), "The Ghost Whisperer" (CBS, 2005-2010) and "Day Break" (2006-07). Several more television roles followed in the early 2000s, including stints on "Mad Men" (2006-2014), "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" (Fox, 2007-09) and "Southland" (2008-2013). He also appeared in "Midgets Vs. Mascots" (2009). during these years Kotabe took on film roles in more recent years, appearing in the suspenseful mystery "Pornography" (2010) with Matthew Montgomery, the Chris Pine action movie "Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit" (2014) and "The November Man" (2014) with Pierce Brosnan. He also worked in television during these years, including roles in "The Assets" (ABC, 2013-14) and "Humans" (AMC, 2014-). Most recently, Kotabe acted in the Salma Hayek thriller "Everly" (2015).
