Wiradjuri Mixed Martial Arts sensation Tai Tuivasa has sent a warning to the UFC heavyweight division with a second-round knockout of number 3 challenger Derrick Lewis.
Tuivasa caught Lewis with a devastating short-range elbow which rendered him unconscious before he hit the ground.
The massive result extends his winning streak to 5 and propels him into title contention.
A jovial Tuivasa paid respect to his opponent post-fight and said he's ready for the best.
"Whoever, whenever," he said.
"Like i said, I'm young and I'm coming and I'm taking over now,"
"I like getting in the nitty gritty, and I'm f***ing always down to get down."
Walking out to Cyndi Lauper's 'girls just want to have fun', Tuivasa entered the bout against the Houston-native as an underdog but began the fight on the front foot.
Lewis managed two takedowns in the opening round, making Tuivasa wear a number of shots as he attempted to regain his feet after the first.
Lewis again showed his damaging power to begin the second but Tuivasa showed plenty in reply. Fans looked set for more exciting exchanges between the Heavyweights but that was brought to an abrupt end by the elbow strike that sent Lewis to sleep.
"Bam Bam from Western Sydney baby, FTA (from the area)," Tuivasa said post-fight.
The 28-year-old proceeded to do at least two shoeys with ringside fans on his exit from the arena.
