The incident happened in a suburb in Brisbane’s north, after police were called out to a residence for an alleged domestic violence incident.
The video shows a distressed mother questioning why her 16-year-old son is being forcefully arrested, when the officer pushes her four times in an increasingly aggressive manner while yelling at her to "sit down".The young man can be heard screaming in pain as he is being handcuffed and led out of the residence.

The mother then demands police get out of her house, but she is told to "sit down and shut up".
She replies with the words "make me" and the officer then says "sit down and do what you’re told" and finally asks a fellow officer for handcuffs and then to arrest her.
The video has gone viral on social media, with over 275,000 views on Facebook and more than 6000 shares,
Numerous Facebook users who have shared the video have stated that the social networking site has deleted their posts. They have been contacted for comment.
The Queensland Police Media Unit has also been contacted for comment.
