For the first time Australia will hold a national round to select next year's Eurovision act.
This week, SBS announced four of 10 acts who will perform at an 'Australia Decides', with Electric Fields named alongside singers Kate Miller-Heidke and Mark Vincent and the band Sheppard.
Zaachariaha Fielding, one half of the electro-soul band, is from Mimili in the APY Lands. His partnership with Michael Ross was celebrated as New Talent of the Year at the 2017 National Indigenous Music Awards.
“The Eurovision Song Contest is the Olympics of camp! It’s a flamboyant spectacle and we’re excited to be part of the first ever Eurovision selection show on home soil," the duo said in a statement.

"We want to tell a story on stage with fierce energy that will hopefully shoot through the cameras and out of the TV screens at home.”
Mr Fielding also features in a documentary to be aired next week on NITV called 'Voice From The Desert'.

There are calls for Eurovision to move the location from Israel to another country, with the international campaign 'Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions' saying Israel is "artwashing apartheid".
Australian artists including Blak Douglas and last year's Eurovision judge L-Fresh the Lion have calling for the event to be boycotted.
Last month, outside of the SBS-NITV offices in Sydney asking the broadcaster to reconsider plans to air the concert.

'Eurovision - Australia Decides' will be held on February 8 and 9, 2019.
