Awaken's Executive Producer, Catherine Liddle, and Living Black reporter, Ryan Liddle, returned to country during NAIDOC this year. They shared their journey with us along the way, capturing this special moment that paid tribute to family and identity.
Ryan and Catherine are now 20 kilometres out of Alice Springs at the cattle yards. When our Grandfather was a young man he and the other stockmen would have to camp out here because they weren't permitted inside town boundaries after dark. Source: Catherine Liddle
