Staff at Nine newspapers on strike after pay offer rejected

Journalists at some of Australia's most popular newspapers have begun five days of industrial action over pay, conditions and the use of artificial intelligence. The strikes at the Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, Australian Financial Review, and other mastheads owned by Nine Entertainment, follow widespread job cuts at other organisations.
