Published 23 January 2025, 6:29 am
A major clean-up operation is underway in Tasmania's west after 4,000 litres of oil spilled into a lake. The spill came after heavy rain almost two weeks ago, which flushed the contents of an old underground tank into Lake Rosebery. Authorities estimate up to 35km of shoreline could be affected.
