NSW Premier orders review of bail laws after Molly Ticehurst's alleged murder

The NSW government has admitted there are 'serious questions' the state must answer after a man on bail for a string of violent offences was charged with the death of Molly Ticehurst. The state is now seeking expert advice on whether the bail laws need urgent reform. But advocacy groups are calling for far more than bail reform - at a time when almost twice the number of women have been killed this year, compared to 2023.
