Medical Board's plan for health checks for older doctors

Medical regulators are pushing for practitioners over 70 to undergo mandatory health checks as the number of complaints against older doctors increase. They say the push is about protecting patient safety but the Australian Medical Association has warned the checks could drive some out of general practice.
