Voters in Kiribati are heading to the polls in the second round of a national election. The small island nation is one of the world's most threatened by rising sea levels. The poll is expected to serve as a referendum on rising living costs and the government's stronger ties with China. Incumbent President Taneti Maamau is seeking to extend his almost decade-long tenure.
