Published 27 August 2024, 9:31 am
In the second part of this SBS special report, we meet two boys who survived attempted child sacrifice by so-called witch doctors in Uganda. Some witch doctors claim the body parts and blood of children give miraculous health and wealth to their clients, and the practice is said to be on the rise. The boys are in Australia for life-changing, pro-bono medical treatment after shocking injuries. A warning: this story includes distressing details.
