Americans react on Twitter to the Turnbull-Trump phone call

News has broken of a terse phone call between President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull which ended just 25 minutes into the planned one-hour call.

President Trump

reportedly blasted Mr Turnbull

over the refugee deal struck with the Obama administration and branded the discussion the "worst call by far", according to a Washington Post report.

American's have been reacting to the news on Twitter, with many expressing surprise at Mr Trump's treatment of a staunch US ally.
