The A$ crumbles as US predicts fewer future rate cuts

The US Federal Reserve cut interest rates as expected by 25 basis points to a range of 4.25% to 4.50% but warned of fewer future interest rate cuts. That sent the Australian dollar to a 2 year low and sharemarket 1.7% weaker.
