People with a disability represent about 20 per cent of Australia's population, but only nine per cent of professionals in the arts.
A 2017 report, by the then Australia Council for the Arts, found issues not only with under-representation, but also underpayment, and a lack of opportunities and career pathways.
Hannah Solomons is the chair and founder of Disability Pride Sydney.
She spoke with Biwa Kwan about how she has been tackling those issues by building greater visibility of people with disabilities in the arts.
