A three-week youth curfew in Alice Springs has come to an end.
Northern Territory authorities imposed the measure banning those under 18 from being in public in the town between 6pm and 6am, following unrest in the town.
There have been mixed reactions to the move, with some Indigenous leaders supporting it as a short-term solution, while others criticised the level of consultation.
Alice Springs Mayor Matt Paterson told SBS News' Sam Dover there are long-term issues that need to be addressed, and it is important resources are provided to assist in that process.
