We all know the story of the Titanic: the famous ocean liner collided with an iceberg on her maiden voyage on April 14, 1912 and sank, taking 1,500 passengers and crew with her to the bottom of the North Atlantic Ocean.

Now, 104 years later, you can watch the fate of the ship once billed as "unsinkable" unfold online - and in real-time.

The simulation, modeled in the 3D engine Unreal 4, recreates the moment the passenger liner strikes an iceberg, before it slowly takes on water and disappears below the waves, two hours and forty minutes later.

Along the way, the video explains key moments in the ship's sinking, as well as the descriptions of eyewitness accounts.

The video was created to promote an upcoming game entitled "."

The sinking of the Titanic was one of the deadliest commercial peacetime maritime disasters in modern history.

Since her wreck was discovered in 1985, thousands of artifacts have been retrieved from the seabed and exhibited in museums around the world.
