The most recent US mass shooting has unfolded live on social media, as four Dallas Police officers have been confirmed killed and seven others injured.
Shots broke out in downtown Dallas on Thursday evening during a protest for two black men who were shot and killed by police in Louisiana and Minnesota.
Michael Kevin Bautista filmed the shooting on Facebook live video, with millions of people from around the world joining the thread to watch the violence unfold.
"They're shooting right now and there's an officer down," Mr Bautista says as he crouches behind a tree, filming police take cover behind vehicles.
"They just dragged one of the police officers into this police car over here to give him some attention and there's somebody else down over there."
More videos of the shooting were posted to Twitter by members of the public in buildings surrounding the area.
"Oh my god, there are people laying on the ground, I hope they're just hiding," A woman can be heard saying as dozens of shots ring out.
"Somebody is really armed to the teeth, this is not one person," another man says.
Karthik Avin posted a video to Twitter, interviewing a man who had just fled the shooting who said he watched a handful of officers shot.
"I was walking and a sniper just started shooting, all of the cops were getting shot," the man says.
"I just saw cops bending over, there would have had to have been five or six cops get shot down, it was right after the rally.'"
"I didn't see anybody else get shot, it was just the cops."
