Tens of millions have watched Kony 2012 around the world but few people in Uganda have actually seen the controversial YouTube video.
Less than 2 per cent of Ugandans have access to the internet but through the work of a local charity, Kony 2012 has been brought to the attention of thousands of villagers in Northern Uganda.
Victor Ochieng from the African Youth Initiative Network spoke to CNN's David McKenzie and says, “I want people to be a part of the debate. It's my responsibility, and my commitment, to take my community to the world and bring the world to my community.”
