Donald Trump's well-known looks make him an easy target for caricatures and guarantee booming sales for Halloween costume sellers who this year expect to sell out their stocks of orange wigs and masks of the magnate.
With a multitude of expressions that are sometimes angry, skeptical or ironic, masks in the image of the Republican candidate for the White House will not be lacking during this traditional US holiday, to be celebrated on October 31.
As for which presidential candidate is the best model for Halloween masks, Trump beats his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton by a wide margin, just the opposite of what surveys indicate to be the voter preference for the November 8 election.
According to a poll published by the daily USA Today early this week, 32 per cent of respondents who intend to wear Halloween masks will choose Trump, while a scant 16 per cent will go for Clinton.
Fred Haijar, head of the Costume Agent company, told EFE that the demand for Trump products is overwhelming - they have sold 50 per cent more than Clinton and President Barack Obama items.
Many of the pumpkins that decorate American homes in this holiday season this year are caricatures of Trump's face and the orange colour of his skin and hair.
