Scott Morrison rejects 'deeply offensive' reports linking him to QAnon

Prime Minister Scott Morrison has hit out at the ABC's Four Corners program over an unaired episode that reportedly links him to a supporter of the QAnon conspiracy theory.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison says suggestions he has any links to the baseless QAnon conspiracy movement are "deeply offensive", amid reports the head of the ABC delayed an episode of the ABC's Four Corners program about the matter.

"I find it deeply offensive there would be any suggestion I would have any involvement or support for such a dangerous organisation. I clearly do not," Mr Morrison told reporters in Canberra on Friday.

"It is just also disappointing that Four Corners in their inquiries would seek to cast this aspersion, not just against me but by members of my own family.

"I just think that is really poor form."
The Four Corners episode was delayed by management this week.

Nine Newspapers have reported the ABC's managing director David Anderson prevented the episode from airing during the expected date on Monday, amid tensions over the dropped defamation case between Industry Minister Christian Porter and the public broadcaster.

The paper also reported Mr Anderson later clarified his decision saying he provided feedback to staff for improvement and did not scrap the episode.
