Justin Bieber has come to Sydney to attend the Hillsong Church Conference.
The church confirmed the 21-year-old pop star is in town, saying in a statement that he is a "delegate" of Hillsong, which is holding a week-long conference at Allphones Arena starting on Monday.
The pop star was first reported to have jetted Down Under in support of his rumoured girlfriend, model Hailey Baldwin.
However, it has since been revealed he's here as a supporter of Hillsong and to attend the conference.
"People come from across the world to Sydney each year to attend Hillsong Conference. Justin is here - like tens of thousands of others - as a delegate who is seeking to build stronger foundations into his life," a statement from Hillsong Church said.
"He is not participating in the conference in any other capacity. Out of respect for his privacy we will not be making further comments," the statement continued.
Baldwin, meanwhile, confirmed she was coming to Australia via her Twitter page on Sunday.
"Headed to Sydney tonight! Really excited for this coming week," Baldwin tweeted on Sunday.
The 18-year-old model, and daughter of Hollywood actor Stephen Baldwin, later confirmed she had landed after her long flight from the US.
"Honestly shocked I endured that flight," she tweeted on Monday morning.
Bieber and Baldwin have been repeatedly spotted together since late 2014, yet deny they are a couple.
Just two weeks ago, Bieber posted a photo to his Instagram page of he and Baldwin together poolside while in Hawaii.
"The one and only @haileybaldwin," he captioned the photo.
However, Baldwin denied the rumoured relationship in an interview with E! News in December.
"I've known him since I was so young - since I was like 13 - and we've just been good friends over the years. We have just stayed close and there's nothing more to it than that," Baldwin said.
