Four more Australians on a quarantined cruise ship docked in Yokohama will be given medical treatment in Japan after testing positive for the coronavirus.
They are among 66 new confirmed coronavirus cases on the Diamond Princess, bringing the tally of infected Australian passengers to 11.
Princess Cruise Lines said the new cases would be transferred to medical facilities in Japan.
Melbourne passengers Karen and Jason Honey said they were shaken by the news that more people had tested positive.
"But otherwise we are OK and are just trying to do one day at a time," Ms Honey told ABC 7.30.
A Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade spokesman said the department is urgently seeking advice from Japanese authorities on the new Australian cases.
The Diamond Princess has been in quarantine since February 3 with 3700 people on board, including more than 200 Australians who are well.
Meanwhile, none of the 266 people evacuated to Darwin from the coronavirus epicentre in China are showing any signs of having caught the virus, medical authorities say.
However a has been isolated in their room on Christmas Island, where a planeload of Australians was sent into quarantine last week.

The adult is considered a low chance of having the virus but has been isolated pending the outcome of testing.
A girl on Christmas Island who was previously isolated has tested negative, while in Australia, five of the 15 confirmed cases of coronavirus have been cleared.
The number of cases worldwide has reached more than 40,500 while more than 900 people have died from the virus, mainly in Wuhan where the outbreak began.
