Since her Eurovision success, singer Dami Im has had non-stop engagements but she chose to perform at her old school as a way of saying thanks for their support.
Im performed her Eurovision hit ‘Sound of Silence’ and Carpenters cover ‘We’ve Only Just Begun’ for students and the public.
“It's amazing to come home to this big crowd that welcomed me today and I'm so thankful for everybody's support and very excited to be home finally,” she said.

The once-shy school girl, is now an international star of the Eurovision variety.
“It's only been a week since I came home, so it's early days but at the moment,” Im said.
“I'm just excited about all the opportunities and how much potential there is and I'm just excited to try out whatever I can.”
The South Korean-born artist migrated to Australia aged nine and grew up in Logan, south of Brisbane.
Im’s international success is a coup for culturally diverse Logan, which has been rebuilding its reputation after years of negative publicity.
“I just want to formally congratulate you Dami,” Mayor Luke Smith said as he welcomed her home.
“We are so incredibly proud, you are a sensation, not just around the world but for those of us here in Logan.
“It means a lot to us that you came back and allowed us to put on this celebration for you.”
Representing Australia at Eurovision built on Dami’s television talent show fame and three albums.
“She's a huge inspiration for our children, for them to think beyond what they usually think they could achieve," Im's former John Paul College teacher Helena Munoz Fernandez said.
"It brings big things closer to them.”
Coming second in Eurovision cemented her star status, especially in Logan.
“We're all excited to see Dami, we're all excited to see her success, in Eurovision, we're all happy and we hope that more students can be successful in this way as well,” a student told SBS News.
Im will next travel to Uganda to visit a child she sponsors as she considers her career options while promoting her new album.
