An actress is suing the Weinstein Company, alleging that Harvey Weinstein forcibly performed oral sex on her and the company was complicit in his abuse.
Dominique Huett, an actress and model, alleges that the movie mogul lured her to his room at the Peninsula hotel in Beverly Hills in November 2010.
She says she was there to discuss her career, but Weinstein insisted she give him a massage. She initially refused, but he was relentless and she ultimately agreed. Weinstein then suggested that he perform oral sex on her, the lawsuit states.
"Again, Weinstein displayed persistence and would not take 'no' for an answer," according to the suit.
"Weinstein initiated and Plaintiff froze as Weinstein removed her clothing and performed oral sex on her. After performing oral sex on Plaintiff, Weinstein masturbated in front of Plaintiff until he reached orgasm."
The suit comes on the same day a former Weinstein Company production assistant says that Harvey Weinstein sexually assaulted her after she repeatedly refused his advances.
In a press conference on Tuesday in New York held by lawyer Gloria Allred, Mimi Haleyi claimed Weinstein forcibly performed oral sex on her in 2006. Haleyi was in her 20s at the time.
Among the dozens of women who have claimed Weinstein sexually harassed them, several women have said Weinstein raped them. Police in Los Angeles, New York and London are investigating rape allegations.
Allred, who is representing other women who have made allegations against Weinstein, declined to say whether Haleyi will file criminal or civil charges.
The lawsuit is the first to be filed since the Weinstein scandal broke three weeks ago, and could be the first of several.
The Weinstein Company is already on the brink of collapse, with Colony Capital exploring a purchase of some or all of its assets in order to avoid bankruptcy. Deals have fallen apart since the scandal, leaving the company struggling to stay in business.
The Weinstein Company did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
"Any allegations of non-consensual sex are unequivocally denied by Mr Weinstein," his rep has said.
