Pakistani artists win hearts of the crowd in Parramasala. Various folk artists flown from Pakistan to participate in one of the most awaited annual multicultural festival of colorful Sydney festival. Pakistani shows include but not limited to live demonstration of truck art and cooking besides folk songs and dance. Colorful opening parade was the first appearance of Pakistani artists and they marked their footprint in the festival.
Opening parade was packed with full of colorful and vibrant dancers, drummers and Pakistani fleet was received with cheered by the crowd with warmness and enthusiasm. Local and guest artists, local community leaders, members of community from all walk of live along side with Pakistani consular general Abdul Majid Yousfani
First ever participation of Pakistan in Parramasala proved the love of the nation with art, culture and peace.

Visiting artists Ahmed Mughal, Rajab Faqir, Roshan Ali, Shahid Ali along side painting artist Riaz Rafi, assistant Natasha De Souza and famous chef Shahid Malik enchanted the audience by their mesmerizing performance.

Famous calligrapher, Sculpture artist painter Riaz Rafi joined from Pakistan to demonstrate live truck art Pakistan. Pakistani Truck Art, is a folk-art genre that has gained popularity around the world ever since the late 60's when tourists returned to the west with the photos of the colourful vehicles that adored the streets. Every province of Pakistan uses their own brightly coloured, regional forms and figures. Pakistani Truck Art is demonstrated at Prince Alfred Square in Parramatta and crowd gathered around to see this masterpiece.
