The official speaker of Eurovision 2017 organising committee in Kyiv Pavlo Shilko and Deputy Prime Minister Vyacheslav Kyrylenko says Ukraine ready for the Eurovision Song Contest 2017. The 62nd edition of the Eurovision Song Contest will take place in the International Exhibition Centre in Kyiv, following Ukraine's victory at the 2016 contest in Stockholm with the song "1944", written and performed by Jamala. Every year the Eurovision song contest is an outstanding calendar event for SBS especially as for the third year Australian singers take part in the festival, and for the last two years in the official competition program.The contest is expected to consist of two semi-finals on 9 and 11 May and the final on 13 May 2017.
