The European Union says it is to launch its 10th package of sanctions against Russia on February 24 to mark the anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The E-U also confirmed it will not set timelines for Ukraine's accession to the bloc. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had hoped the E-U would fast-track Ukraine's membership. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and European Council President Charles Michel say a lot has to happen first, but it will eventually be completed .
