As the dawn of 2024 unfolds, we sought insights from five of our listeners from diverse backgrounds. In this feature, we delve into their reflections on the accomplishments and challenges faced in 2023, their aspirations for the upcoming year, and the expectations they carry into 2024.

Curated by Kulasegaram Sanchayan, our compilation encapsulates the unique perspectives of our respondents. Dr. Balu Vijay, who has spent half of his life in India and the other half in Australia, shares his journey. Mrs. Sivasakthi Parimalanathan, an interpreter by profession, provides her valuable insights. Suthes Kandasamy, an engineer balancing work in Brunei with family life in Brisbane, contributes his experiences. Additionally, we hear from the Vijayakumar brothers, Sriram and Srinath, students navigating their academic paths in Melbourne.

Together, their narratives weave a tapestry of varied experiences, offering a glimpse into the individual journeys that mark the onset of this new year.
