Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav has made an elite troika with Kapil Dev and Chetan Sharma on Thursday after he took a hat-trick at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata against Australia.
Australia were 148 for 5 and suddenly they were reduced to 148 for 8 in just three deliveries.
Yadav dismissed Matthew Wade on the second ball of 33rd over and sent packing Ashton Agar and Pat Cummins in successive deliveries during the second ODI to take a 2-0 lead in the five-match series against visiting Aussies.
India beat Australia by 50 runs.

The young spinner said he was struggling to get his bowling right before he turned to former Indian skipper MS Dhoni for advice.
“Initially I was struggling to bowl in a particular area. It’s a game of cricket, everything happens.Last match, where I was hit for three sixes in an over, was a learning experience. I asked Mahibhai what I should bowl, he said ‘tujhejaisalagta haiwo daal (bowl what you want),” said Kuldeep.
However, this wasn’t Yadav’s first international hat-trick. He became the first Indian to take a hat-trick in the Under 19 World Cup in 2014, against Scotland.
Indian skipper Virat Kohli said he didn’t feel India’s score of 252 was enough to win the game. However, he was full of praise for Kuldeep Yadav after his hat-trick that completely snatched the match from the Australians.
"We did not feel like we had enough at the break. But we knew if we had a good start we have a good chance of defending it. We knew if we don't take wickets it would be difficult. To be honest, the wicket was not easy to bat on throughout the day," he said.
"Two young spinners bowling with a lot of heart, speaks volumes about their characters. Really augurs well for us how the team is shaping up," said Kohli.
