It's been 20 years since Satnam Bajwa, Ranjit Singh Khera and Kulwinder Singh Bajwa met at Transport NSW where they trained and worked together.

Running on weekends is a ritual that keeps their friendship strong, their bodies fit, and their minds clear.

Mr Bajwa believes that running is best done with friends. He loves the technical aspect of running such as mileage, pace and distance.

“Running alone could be depressing for some people.  So ask a friend to run with you and the miles will fly by as you chat,” says Mr Bajwa.

Below listen to Satnam Bajwa’s full interview (in Punjabi) with 's :

Mr Bajwa is a ‘Run Director’ and an active participant at ‘the Ponds parkrun’ event.

He recently completed 50 parkruns and volunteered 22 times in around 1.5 years at the parkrun.

Mr Bajwa's close friend Ranjit Singh Khera runs for a good sweat and for peace of mind.

Kulwinder Singh Bajwa whose other passion is gardening, enjoys the social aspect of parkrun.
Together, they have run City2Surf every year since 2001 and the SMH Half Marathon is their another favourite event.
Parkrun is a weekly free timed 5km run/walk on Saturday mornings, at multiple locations across Australia.

Parkrun started back in 2004 when 13 runners got together on a blustery day in Bushy Park, Teddington, UK. They’re now an international family of over half a million runners (and counting). Know more about parkrun
