A taxi driver of Indian origin has been robbed at knifepoint in his driveway in Adelaide.
Rajpal Singh Sidhu had just reached his home in Ingle Farm, north-east of Adelaide after finishing his shift when two men allegedly robbed him in his driveway on Sunday morning.
The men approached Sidhu and threatened him with a knife before stealing a bag that contained cash, a mobile phone and his house keys just after 5 am, reported.
“They asked me for money and took it ... almost $200.
The 33-year-old cab driver suffered a minor cut to his hand while trying to push the knife away from his neck.
The police managed to find his iPhone on a nature strip a short time later, however, his other belongings including cash have still not been found.
The alleged offenders were described as of caucasian appearance, aged in their early 20s, about 183cm tall, wearing hoodies and tracksuit pants.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident to share information with Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
